Held one rung all window — pattern: Credit burn-rate reprice.
The short version The sticker barely moved — but the meter did. The same work costs more than it used to.
The verdict
In January 2025 Murf Studio was already metered in hours of Voice Generation Time. The pricing page archived 12 January 2025 was a JavaScript shell, but its bundle called the vendor's plans endpoint, archived two seconds later: Creator Lite $29/month for 2 hours (yearly $276/24), Creator Plus $49 for 4, Business Lite $99 for 8 (yearly $948/96, up to 3 seats), Business Plus $199 for 20, all in USD, plus a 0-hour free plan and a contact-sales Enterprise tier. The help article "Additional VGT" archived 21 January 2025 named the only remedies when time "runs out before the end of your billing cycle": add a seat, upgrade, or have support cancel and repurchase the plan; no overage, so the hard rung. The ladder was then rebuilt twice at the same rung. By 9 April 2025 the replacement endpoint served Creator $29/2h (yearly $228/24h), Growth $99/8h (yearly $792/96h) and Business $299/20h (yearly $2,388/240h). By 3 September 2025 the $299 tier was gone and the $99/8h plan carried the Business name, unchanged on 6 April and 12 October 2026. No top-up pack appears in any capture; the October 2026 help text still lists upgrade or repurchase as the only paths (hard).
