The verdict

The earliest archived pricing page is from 13 March 2025, not January itself. It sold one subscription for Waves (text to speech) and Atoms (agents): Free at $0 with 30 minutes of Lightning a month, Basic at $5, Premium at $29 and Pro at $49 a month (yearly billing) with 3, 24 and 41 hours, and the FAQ "You will have to upgrade your plan when the credits get over" — a hard allotment with no pack and no overage, still there on 24 April 2025. Between that capture and 23 June 2025 the page was rebuilt around voice agents: Free with "$1 in free test credits", Personal from $49, Business from $1,999 with "large, cost-effective credit bundles", Enterprise on request, and TTS priced per 10,000 characters (Lightning V2 ~$0.50 to ~$0.10 by tier). By 2 March 2026 a "Pay As You Go … No monthly commitment required" option sat beside those plans; by 8 June 2026 only Pay as you go and Enterprise remained; by 20 September 2026 the models tab priced Lightning V3.1 at $0.175 per 10K characters. The 12 October 2026 capture shows that: a prepaid balance with auto-recharge, "$10 in free credits", exhaustion unstated.

What changed

No dated repricing events are itemized for Smallest.ai in this edition's log (the pricing history is in the verdict above). New moves are added to the change log as they're captured.

Where it's headed

The product has shed every subscription allotment and now publishes only rates; the open question is not the rung but the disclosure — what happens when the prepaid balance hits zero is still unstated, and the Waves consumer app's in-app plans are no longer public at all.
