The verdict

Intercom Fin is the canonical outcome-priced product — and the proof that the frontier is reached by birth, not migration. It launched in 2023 charging $0.99 per resolved conversation (no charge when it fails to resolve), standing beside Intercom's seat business rather than replacing it, and has held that price ever since. The only evolution is a broadening of the outcome model — in May 2026 a Fin-for-Sales tier added $9.99 per qualified lead and $0.99 per disqualification — all still per-result. It has not moved on the continuum since January 2025.

What changed

No dated repricing events are itemized for Fin in this edition's log (the pricing history is in the verdict above). New moves are added to the change log as they're captured.

Where it's headed

Per-outcome is the destination rung; there is no rightward move left. Expect more outcome types to be defined and priced, not a change of mechanic.

A read on the likely next move from where Fin sits today — association, not a forecast (the panel is observed, not sampled). How the continuum works →
